Victorian Agency for Health Information Annual Forum
Even the State’s health sector needs an annual check-up. Think HQ worked with the Victorian Agency for Health Information to host its second Annual Forum.
The Annual Forum was a great success with 255 people registering and 136 attending the Forum with many of the guests staying after the event to network.
The Brief
The Victorian Agency for Health Information (VAHI) was looking to host its second Annual Forum, bringing together a broad network of stakeholders across health services and industry bodies. The event was set to showcase VAHI’s year in review, unveil VAHI’s strategic plan, and provide the opportunity to hear from both VAHI senior leaders and senior health service leaders, as well as the consumer perspective on healthcare.
Idea
We worked with VAHI to create an engaging forum featuring special presentations from VAHI leadership, significant industry stakeholders and health data experts.
Think HQ facilitated event management activity and planning, on the day videography and photography, invitation design and RSVP management, and stakeholder and speaker management activity.
Outcomes
The Annual Forum was a success with 136 attending the forum with many of the guests staying after the event to network.
Think HQ managed end-to-end delivery of the entire event, from venue selection, booking, catering and AV; management of invites, online registrations, and RSVPs; distribution of event reminders; plus on the day event management, including attendee registration and time management. We briefed all speakers prior to the event; created branded event collateral including name tags; and developed a post-event survey distributed to all attendees.
Our in-house videographer captured the forum in its entirety, creating a 2-minute highlight video for social media, featuring VAHI CEO Dr Lance Emerson; a full-length video showcasing formalities and guest networking; and a series of photographs capturing the look and feel of the event for VAHI’s social media channels and website.
The feedback survey, distributed post-event, showed that:
- Attendees rated the overall event at an average of 4.2 out of 5 stars.
- 71% of attendees enjoyed the panel discussion most
- A combined 86% of attendees found the information presented at the annual forum ‘very useful’ or ‘useful’.
This project demonstrates our understanding of and experience delivering public sector events focused on professional development building the capacity of key public service industries.
