PR Strategy

There’s a shortage of teachers in Victoria. Negative news stories and outdated ideas are turning people away from an incredibly rewarding profession.

We needed to shift the narrative, and get more people excited to pursue careers in the classroom.

Working with the Department of Education, we created a massive integrated blitz to show just how amazing teachers are - and how they affect our lives, with ripples across the decades.

Think HQ put pen, to paper, to production with:

• Cinematic case study videos • Interactive Expo activations • A heartwarming celebrity ambassador reunion video, featuring Nazeem Hussein • An engaging Webinar series • Grassroots community events and partnerships with North Melbourne Football Club.

This fully-integrated campaign showed just how powerful PR can be as part of the broader campaign mix. It generated:

• 16 news stories across 26 news outlets • 112% increase in website traffic • 11% increase in offers to Vic education courses

And course enrolments saw an uptake of 3,800. That’s more inspired Victorians, inspiring our kids.
