Introducing
Think HQ’s Reflect RAP
We've always been firm believers in harnessing the power of communications as a force for positive impact. Working in Australia means that goal simply isn’t possible without taking meaningful, genuine, and considered action towards reconciliation with First Nations peoples.
With that in mind, we’re honoured to be able to announce the launch of our inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), endorsed by Reconciliation Australia. Marking a significant milestone in our journey towards reconciliation, our Reflect RAP is the first of four RAP types – Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, and Elevate – that will be progressively built upon.
The start of our reconciliation journey
The Reflect RAP will enable us to deepen our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories, while embracing a journey that requires continuous learning and growth. It sets out a plan to support reconciliation both within our agency and the wider industry. Importantly, it outlines actions we’re taking to provide opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build on our diverse workforce and maintain Think HQ as a truly inclusive workplace.
So many hands and minds have contributed to the development of this document, and we are grateful for the collective effort. We've also had the privilege of collaborating with Adjunct Professor Wayne Quilliam, an Indigenous photographic artist, curator, and cultural advisor. Through his captivating lens, Professor Quilliam has captured the vibrant diversity of the cultures that shape our nation, and we’d like to thank him for his work.
Committing to meaningful change
As we embark on this journey, we recognise that the RAP represents not only a milestone but also a starting point. It is now our shared responsibility to embrace and act upon the commitments outlined within it.
Our Reflect RAP is more than a plan – it's a compass and a promise guiding us towards the actions needed to grow, change, and reconcile. It's a pledge to acknowledge the past, commit to meaningful action in the present, and create a better future for all.
The road to reconciliation may be long, but we're determined to walk it with purpose and passion. As we embrace our Reflect RAP, we invite you to be part of this transformative journey.
