Nicolas Ojeda Amador
If you want to deliver messages that transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries, you’ll need to have an attentive ear, a curious mind and a knack for transforming problems into solutions. Thankfully, Nicolas has all three!
With experience as a case manager and marketing coordinator in Australia’s immigration sector, Nicolas brings tons of unique insights to engage with our audiences. Previously a teacher and librarian in Colombia, this lifelong learner is constantly searching for ways to help others.
At Think HQ, Nicolas is also the bridge between production and localisation ensuring a smooth coordination across radio, voice over and animation projects. On top of being a stellar Communications and Engagement Specialist, Nicolas is committed to finding new ways to ensure messages are both understood and valued by communities. One of his favourite projects involved the creation of the first LGBTQIA+ Glossary in over 12 languages (and counting!), giving translators confidence to navigate the complexities of gender diverse language across culture and dialects.
Outside of cooking up localisation solutions that resonate with communities, you'll often catch Nicolas sharing his mouth-watering Portuguese tarts around the Think HQ office.
Nicolas is IAP2 Certified, holds a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy, literature and education from Santo Tomas University. He has also received training in accounting, project management, interpreting and translation from different institutions across Victoria.
