2017 has been a year of significant growth, work and achievement.
We were recognised as Medium Consultancy of the Year and awarded Health Campaign of the Year (DonateLife Week) at the 2017 Victorian Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Golden Target Awards. We were then highly commended at the 2017 PRIA National Golden Target Awards.
Judged by our peers in the Public Relations industry, this recognition is reaffirming of the quality of work we produce and the skill of our team. This also followed recognition as finalists in the 2017 Mumbrella Comms Con Awards for Best Government Relations Campaign.
I’m proud of the passionate and proactive team I have, and it’s cause to reflect upon the impact our work has had. I founded Think HQ to create smart communications for projects that matter – and to think that 42,000 people joined the Australian Organ Donor Register during our 2016 campaign is remarkable. Each of those people could one day save or transform 10 or more lives. That is the greatest award.
Just this month, we were also recognised as finalists in the B&T Awards - Victorian Agency of the year, alongside national and multi-national advertising and marketing agencies. This is significant, as it is a nod from the industry that we’ve made the transition from Public Relations consultancy to full-service communications agency. It’s also a nod from the broader industry that we aren’t just feel-good, but run a tight robust business that can compete with the broader market.
As the needs of our clients have changed, so have we. In the last few years our team has grown to bring on board designers, creatives, developers, motion designers, digital advertisers and content marketers.
This change was evident at the recent Scanlon Foundation Mapping Social Cohesion launch. Our team carried out event management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement. They also created infographics, several videos, a new microsite and social media content creation and community management.
2018 will see big things for Think HQ. Our Creative & Interactive team are developing new and exciting solutions that will further expand our agency’s offerings. Our PR team are also working with Facebook and LinkedIn to further build our content marketing and social advertising offerings.
We’re also launching a new venture that will build capacity in the social change sector, and will provide thousands of organisations with best practice learning and consultations that they otherwise may not have access to.
Thanks to all our clients for such a great year and we look forward to delivering some great work in 2018.
